It's time to wrap up September and tell you what our scientific and field teams have been up to. 🐾

Fieldwork was slowed this month due to weather conditions in the Philippines. At our main study site, the team continued to build additional traps for the radio-tracking project.

🌿 A huge thank you to our volunteers! 🌿 This year ABConservation celebrates its 11th anniversary and it's all thanks to them. Whether in the Philippines, France or the UK, they are the pillars of ABConservation.

Last month, we announced that our team had recovered the images taken between March and May at our secondary study site. After an initial examination of the data, here's what we discovered: lots of photos and videos of our beloved Binturong!

Binturongs are not pets!
You may have already seen photos and/or videos of binturongs in cages, playing with dogs or cats, being carried on their shoulders or fed by hand... It's not cute because it's not natural!

During May, we were visited by 4 students from AgroParisTech, members of the association Sur les Traces de Darwin. As for the field team, they have started building an additional trap to increase our chances of launching the radio-tracking study soon. In the office, data analysis continues.
