We were able to regularly observe binturongs at our study sites gthanks to a non-invasive camera trap system installed in the trees. We have even been following a family of binturongs for several months! Aren't they adorable?  

Our team also celebrated ABConservation's 12th anniversary by the sea with team building activities. This gave the field team a chance to step out of their usual work routine by participating in various games while sharing a great meal!

Thanks to a few days of sunshine, our research program managers, Éléa and Rollyna, as well as our field team, were able to achieve several objectives across our various study sites, all of which are essential for gathering more data on the binturong.

Finally, we would like to pay tribute to the members of our field team, Kuya Marlon, Arlo, Jaylor, Kuya Ben, Lolo Adok, and Kuya Belcesar, for their unwavering dedication to the Bearcat Study Program on this World Ranger Day. Rangers help protect our ecosystems. They are the guardians of our changing planet. Let us all express our gratitude and affection to them, as they help us study and protect binturongs and their forest habitat.
